In the context of the ORAMMA project, a meeting will take place between the ORAMMA team (Greece) and healthcare personnel, NGOs representatives as well as migrant/refugee groups, with the aim of exchanging good practices and making recommendations to improve the health care of migrant women and women refugees in the perinatal period, focusing on primary health care. During this meeting, it is planned to discuss the difficulties encountered every day in the health care of these women and their newborn children, as well as current and planned actions and policies of the local actors in this field. This meeting is expected to contribute to the development of comprehensive and cost-effective approaches and proposals for safe maternity.
The meeting will be carried out in Heraklion, Crete, in the School of Health and Welfare Services of the TEI of Crete, on 30 May 2017 from 17.00 to 20.00 o’ clock.
